So, in my previous post I talked about what Homemaking is. One thing Holly said was that it is making the people in your home feel loved and comforted.
One way that I choose to do this is by making a special cake for people for their birthday. I really do enjoy this and it's a way to let that person know I care about them.
Here are pictures of some of the cakes I have made. I have never taken a cake decorating class so trust me, these are cakes you can do too!
Ladybug
Fire Truck
Golf Course (oops..sand pit was a little big!) :)
Hamburger Cake

I found you by googling volcano cake. I'm trying to come up with a dinosaur/volcano birthday cake for my son's 5th on Thurs. I still haven't settled on what I'm doing. ha! But, love your cakes. Great work! And your kids are adorable. I'll have to swing back by when I have more time, as I see the homeschooling links as well. Just wanted to say hello. :-)
Neat! Hope the cake turns out well. Thankfully it's an easy one! :)
Thanks so much!
Yes, I hope you'll stop by again soon. :)
I'll be sure to swing by your blog during nap time. :)
Wow, those are awesome cakes! I also try to make a special cake for everyone n their birthday, it's a tradition I took up after my great grandmother passed away. Great post, thanks for sharing!
