In Honor of the First Snow

I am not a huge fan of snow, but my kids are and today was the first day they were able to see it coming down and it actually stuck to the ground for a little while.

So....for lunch I made them mozzarella grilled cheese sandwiches cut with snowmen cookie cutters. They used raisins for the buttons. It's the simple things that make it fun to be a mom (and a kid!)

We also read The Snowy Day and How Big is a Million? (and plan to read Katy and the Big Snow).

What seemingly little things do you do for your kids that make your house a home?
