What is gMovies?

gMovies. Have you heard of it? I hadn't either until recently but I'd love to tell you about it and you're probably wondering what it is.  Basically, it's kind of like a Christian version of Netflix. For only $4.99/mth you have instant access to hundreds of Christian movies and shows and they are all available anytime and anywhere when using your iPad, Android or from your PC.

What I love most is that there will be some type of standard for these movies that puts them in the "Christian Category." I know that doesn't mean every movie will be one that we will want to watch but I do know that it gives us some great options for entertainment without the kids accidentally seeing or reading garbage and frankly, it's pretty nice for my husband and I to have options as well that don't tempt us to compromise our viewing standards.

What I love most, so far though, are the options for our kids. They're pretty excited about them too and when I say, "Hey kids, do you want to watch a gMovie?" there's always a lot of cheering going on and requests immediately start coming in for what they're going to watch.

Their favorites so far are several episodes from The Sugar Creek Gang. They were already familiar with The Sugar Creek Gang because they have a couple of the Audio Recordings from the set by Paul Hutchens. I wholeheartedly recommend these audio recordings by the way. They are especially excellent for boys (although our daughter enjoys them too) because they all focus on the day to day adventures of a group of boys around the ages of 8-12 who have fun together, but also wrestle through some of the difficulties an average boy would face as he is growing up.

Since we just finished up The Sugar Creek Gang movies, the kids are anxious to move on to the Torchlighter movies. We really, really like Torchlighters and have been slowly working our way through these cartooned version biographies of famous men and women such as George Mueller, Amy Carmichael, David Livingstone, Gladys Alward and so many more!

How Do I Get the Free Trial?

Oftentimes when I see I can get a free trial for something I'm hesitant to try it because I have to give my debit card information and I'm afraid I will forget to cancel it in time if we don't like it. Thankfully, with gMovies I didn't have to provide any credit card/debit information. I simply used my code from my free 6 month subscription in exchange for my honest review. The same goes for you. If you want to take advantage of the FREE 2 Week trial, go to gMovies, click on register and enter this code FREETRIAL25. If after the two weeks you decide you really like it and want to sign up, it's great to know that there is no commitment and you can cancel at anytime.
