I like to read a book in it's entirety before I recommend it, however, I would like you to be able to check this out before Christmas is over!
The first devotional I read I was struck by all that Christ has done for me and was brought to tears. Check out this snippit:"Jesus, You are 'God with us.' What must that moment have been like (when God the Son left heaven to be with us, parenthises mine). When heaven's great Treasure shed His kingly grandeur ...When He who was from the beginning took upon Himself the form of a servant, did the eternal realm halt--just for a heartbeat--and stand speechless with wonder? When the King of kings exchanged His majestic robes for swaddling clothes, surely it was the most beautiful, awe-inspring moment in all eternity."
I hope this blesses you and reminds you of how awesome the Christmas season really is. Hopefully you can get this devotional so you can be reminded of these truths each day during the month of December. Blessings!
