Our Annual Snowball Fight...In the Summer!

For the past three, maybe even four years, I have saved snow from the winter so the kids could have snowball fights in the summer.

The kids love it! It makes for a fun, spontaneous summer activity and it's free, of course.

And let's be honest; it's really the only time I love snow. That, and Christmas of course. But other than that, I'm a sunshine and warm weather kind of girl.

Around February every year (I actually make myself a reminder on my Outlook Calendar so I don't forget!), I tell the kids to grab a couple of gallon sized freezer bags and fill them with snow. We add them to the deep freezer and pull them out several months later when it's a piping hot day. And while it's not powdery like freshly fallen snow, it's pretty good and gets the job done. :)

Enjoy the pictures!
