Introducing Christa's Custom Bows

I first discovered Christa's Custom Bows a few years back at a local Mom2Mom sale. She specializes in affordable hair clips and can even make custom ones for you.  At that time, I purchased one of her ladybug hair clips  for my daughter.

I doubt my daughter even had  much hair at the time, but I loved the clip and hoped I'd use it some day. And, I did! I later found a ladybug outfit and she had a Ladybug Birthday party this past year. It all came together so nicely! :)

Of course, this is the birthday that I forgot she was turning 3 and put a 2 on her cake!!! I brought the cake out and everyone started singing but then started murmuring amongst themselves, "Oh, no! She's only 2? I got a present that's too old for her!"

After we sang (the 1st time...) my dad yells out, "Hey, Becky! How come there's a 2 on her cake?!" In a moment of sheer disbelief (and slight panic at the thought that I might be "losing it") I laughed and said I guess I just couldn't believe that my baby girl was growing up! I went back into the house, put a 3 on her cake and we re-sang "Happy Birthday" to her and re-took the pictures. I probably shouldn't even tell you that I had even gotten the #2 candle out ahead of time so that I would be sure to put the right number on...Goodness! If I'm this bad now what will I be like when I really am old?!?

Anyways, enough about the ladybug birthday. If you're anything like me, you like to put bows, clips or headbands in your little girl's hair. Now, finding decent priced ones can be a challenge (unless you're spoiled like me and have an amazingly gifted mother-in-law to make ones for your daughter.) But, I do know that Christa's Custom Bows are very reasonably priced (which is why the savvy shopper in me snagged the adorable ladybug clip that I already mentioned). I'm also kind of a holiday girl so I like ones like these:

St. Patrick's Day

And I also think these are super cute!

Christa also just added Tutu's to her line. They are an introductory rate of $10.

THEN, I recently discovered that Christa also offers the combined headband/bow holder. (The one pictured below is only the bow holder.) Honestly, I've never seen one of these before and I had even looked on-line for how to make some type of a headband holder. BUT, nothing caught my eye and since I'm not super-crafty I never came up with anything. I was really happy to get one of these because the bow/headband situation was a little out of control. Not very organized and some of the bows were getting a little smushed! :(

I was pretty happy to find this because as I mentioned, my mother-in-law has made my daughter some beautiful headbands and bows and I didn't have a way to properly store them. This was the answer to my problem!

Here it is displayed nicely in Carlee's room. I know, I'm pretty spoiled...she has a lot of bows and headbands. We loaded this thing up the minute we got it!

As you know, I've been able to do a lot of giveaways on here. I'm really thankful for that and I hope you like entering them! If so, you won't be disappointed because Christa is graciously offering a crocheted headband with a gerbera daisy to one reader! Here's a picture of what one of them looks like:

Hi Becky. :) I "liked" you on FB and also became a follower of the blog. I would love to win the crocheted headband/daisy! I only have nylon headbands for the girls, and believe it or not, I don't have any flowers, just bows. I think I actually have a couple of her bows from a mom2mom sale too. They looked like they're tied the same and I love them! They don't stick up/out funny on the baby's head like some of our other ones. Anyway, I like the plain old grosgrain bows the best I think. :)

I really like the Stretchy Nylon Headband with Flower. They seem pretty versatile. They would look great on my poor little bald baby ;)
