Grace Sufficient

Okay, this has been a really long week. Sick kids and I think now I'm coming down with it too. I'm trying to be patient with the kids even though I am starting to have that "walls closing in feeling" that comes every time the weather starts to get colder and the kids and I can't be outside as much. Anyways, I came across these verses this week and wanted to encourage you with them.

Psalm 103:2-5 "Praise the Lord, I tell myself, and never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He ransoms me from death and surrounds me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's!"

I love these verses. The good things God does for me often is measured in so many ways that are not tangible. (some of them are, like the pizza kit someone dropped off anonymously at our door tonight--how thoughtful you sweet, generous soul!) Then there's the fact that He forgives all my sins. And, He heals all my diseases. That healing may not come this side of eterntiy, but I know that He will certainly heal me of them (should I have them) when I reach heaven. Life doesn't end here so that healing doesn't necessarily have to take place here either. I trust that in that circumstance that God will give grace should I or a family member need it. He has certainly surrounded me with love and I could definitely use that youth renewing right about now trying to keep up with the youth in my life! :)
Well, I hope those verses are a blessing to you as well!
