Basic H2 Giveaway

'Tis the season for Giveaways here on Purposeful Homemaking! I'm super excited to be doing so many giveaways and I'm sure you are too--congrats to all those who have won so far!

For my next giveaway, Bethany at www.healthyfamilyhappyhome.myshaklee.com  is offering a lucky winner a 16 oz bottle of Basic H2 Organic Cleaner which makes 216 bottles of all purpose cleaner! I tried a sample that she sent me and from one LITTLE sample I was able to make one bottle of all-purpose cleaner AND one bottle of window cleaner! I was very impressed at how far it stretched. I love that when I use it on Caleb's high chair I'm not putting toxins on his tray that he's going to "eat" up!

In case you're wondering why you might want to try this cleaning product check out the  top 10 Reasons to Love Basic H2:

1. Stop living in a toxic home

Some of the most questionable chemicals used regularly in household products are ammonia, chlorine bleach, phenol, butyl cellosolve, and formaldehyde—all of which can be found under your kitchen sink. Basic H2 is nontoxic and safe for your family.

2. Everything and the kitchen sink

Basic H2 cleans it all from kitchens and bathrooms to appliances, woodwork, mirrors, painted walls, and floors—it even does windows. So, toss those single-purpose cleaners like sink and tile cleaners. Mix ¼ teaspoon in 16 oz. of water in a Get Clean spray bottle for all purpose cleaning, and 2 drops in 16 oz. of water to clean windows.

3. Eliminate your ammonia-based window cleaner

Basic H2 cleans windows without streaking while being a great alternative to leading brands. Basic H2 window cleaner is equivalent in performance to Windex® Original.*

4. Removes the impossible

From lipstick on a linen napkin to crayons on a painted wall, full-strength Basic H2 comes to the rescue.

5. Great for cutting grease

Tough on greasy barbecue grills, ovens, and even oil spots on concrete. Mix 2 oz. per gallon of water for a superdegreaser formula.

6. Does odd jobs

One tablespoon of Basic H2 in a bucket of hot water lifts off old wallpaper. One and a half teaspoons in a half gallon cleans sticky paintbrushes. Just soak for 24 hours and rinse with hot tap water.

7. Saves money

One 16 oz. bottle of Basic H2 diluted per label directions makes 214 bottles (28 oz.) of ready-to-use all-purpose cleaner.

8. Camping and traveling companion

Take along a small size of Basic H2 to keep clothes, dishes, and everything else clean. And you’ll help by keeping the great outdoors unpolluted.

9. Easy on the planet

Biodegradable and environmentally friendly, Basic H2 handles even hard-to-clean jobs without phosphates, borates, nitrates, or other stuff the planet doesn’t appreciate.

10. Less in the landfill

Basic H2 is superconcentrated, so you’ll use fewer bottles of cleaning products throughout the year.

I'm sure you would love to win a bottle of this! So, what do you need to do to win? Simply go to Bethany's website and tell me what you would love to try. Then come back and leave a comment on this post. Be sure to leave your e-mail address like this: becky(at)purposefulhomemaking.com so I can contact if you if you won. :)

I will do the drawing on Saturday, December 18 at 10 a.m. EST.

I would really like to try the H2 wipes. I use disinfecting wipes all the time and I would like to use something safe!

I would be curious to see how the unscented laundry soap compares to my favorite. I didn't realize until I washed at someone else's house how the fragrance really bothers me.

Just a word from Healthy Home, Happy Family:

Thanks for those of you entering to win the Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate, one of my FAVORITE Shaklee products by far!

If you don't win this giveaway and are still interested in Basic H2, I would love to send you a sample! You can contact me through my Healthy Home, Happy Family Facebook Fan page or healthyhomehappyfamily.myshaklee.com or email me bettylouise7@yahoo.com.

Two more things:
Shaklee doesn't sell diapers, but I wish they did!

The laundry detergent is my 2nd favorite Shaklee product. We use the fragrance free powder on our cloth diapers (works out to only 10 cents a load!) and the regular detergent on everything else (which is gentle enough on my daughter's sensitive skin!)

Thanks again, Becky!
