Welcome to Day 1 of my Learning Resources Event! I hope that you enjoy all the featured products over the next 11 Days and all of the GIVEAWAYS that will accompany those products! :)
The first product I'd like to tell you about is I Spy Bags from Giggle Junction. For those of you who homeschool, but still have younger children to keep occupied, something like this would be very helpful!
I spy bags are quiet, self-contained educational toys. We had a chance to check out this one and the kids (and I!) had fun looking for the 30 self-contained pieces. :) I thought this little pirate was too cute!
Although Giggle Junction recommends these for ages 3 and up, my supervised 22 month old also enjoyed looking at the little pieces in the clear window.
The I Spy Bags are "great for keeping children entertained during travel, waiting during appointments, quiet time at home or anywhere you'd like to keep them occupied."
Personally, I think they also make a great "church toy" for younger children. I often have our younger ones with us in church and it's nice to have a quiet toy to occupy them. (Although for the record, they participate with us during prayer and singing, but during the sermon time I let them do something quietly...not that I don't think the preaching is important...lol, but it's a process I believe. What they can participate in at this age, they do, the rest will come as they get older).
There are a lot of I Spy Bags out there on Etsy, but I liked the look of these the best. Ours has a nice soft flannel feel on the back which my youngest likes to rub his face on. :)
Giggle Junction also attaches a card with the exact picture of all the items hidden within the bag. "This helps to promote independent play for young children not yet reading or with communication delays. They will easily be able to identify and match items from the card to the spy window. The card can be removed by an adult to play interactive games together like….'Can you find something that starts with the letter B' or 'I spy something yellow'. Older kids like to race to see who can find objects the fastest or in a certain order."
Giggle Junction has some very cute styles to choose from. This one caught my eye because I'm planning an Owl Themed Birthday Party for my son who will be 2 next month. Which, by the way, Giggle Junction also makes these in smaller versions for birthday party favors as well!
Giggle Junction is going to give a blessed reader one I Spy Bag from their Etsy shop. Here's how to enter:

I guess I'd have to decide if I was going to get for one of my girls, or boy! Since there isn't a tractor, and the windows on the dump truck and the train is smaller, I think I'd get the firetruck for a boy. The Luv U bag is precious for my girls, but the horse would work well for any of them! Those are great!
