Vapour Organic Beauty Review and Giveaway

Why We Should Consider Organic Beauty Products

Although I'm aware of the fact that choosing organic beauty products is a good idea, I had yet to try any until I came across Vapour Organic Beauty Products.

I know it's important to at least consider using organic beauty products because our skin is an organ. In fact, it's our largest organ. That being said, what we put on our skin does go into our body.

Since that's the case, it would be a good idea to start taking steps towards replacing beauty products with more natural ones.

Ultimately, my life is in God's hands and I cannot prevent all diseases from affecting me. However, what I can do is continue to make better, healthier choices for my family and me and leave the rest up to Him.

In fact, Vapour Organic Beauty co-founder Krysia Boinis, botanical expert and young breast cancer survivor says, “Being diagnosed with breast cancer in my 30’s was shocking for me. The disease changed my life and reinforced my belief in the importance of using safe, non-toxic beauty products on our skin everyday. Vapour is formulated with food-grade, certified organic botanicals and pure, natural pigments and vitamins, so they are safe for everyone and gentle enough for those undergoing cancer treatments.” source

Vapour Organic Beauty is an excellent choice for your beauty products. Their products have 70% Certified Organic Ingredients and are 30% Minerals & Vitamins. They are also Paraben Free, Gluten Free, Chemical Free, Cruelty Free, and have no Nano Particles, and no Irradiation. source

It's also good to know that "certified Organic ingredients have been found to offer twice the antioxidant potency as their conventional counterparts. Vapour’s Organic ingredients are rich in Antioxidants, EFAs (essential fatty acids) and Vitamins & Minerals which support skin health." source

What I Thought

I tried the Vapour Organic Beauty Holiday Collection and loved it! It retails for $49 and includes:

Siren Lipstick in Chère, a nude mauve
Mesmerize Eyeliner in Black Velvet
Trick Stick in Star, a platinum highlight
Vernissage 3-Free Nail Lacquer in Trance, a warm charcoal graphite.
I like the fact that the makeup is in natural colors intended to highlight your features rather than overdo them. The products went on easily and also stayed on. (I tend to have oily skin so even my eyeliner has a tendency to need to be reapplied later in the day.

As for the nailpolish, I LOVE it! It's so pretty and chic! And best of all it stays on well, applies easily and is free of the following known carcinogens: Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DHB) and Formaldehyde. It is non-toxic, safe for children and moms-to-be!

In addition to trying the Holiday Collection, I also tried the Lux Organic Lip Conditioner. Let's just say I use it several times throughout the day since I live in a cold region and have to stay on top of dry skin and lips around here! It stays on a long time and truly makes your lips feel softer!
And, last but not least I tried the Clarity Makeup Remvoing Cleansing Oil. This is "more than a cleanser! Clarity calms and balances skin while providing anti-aging antioxidants to protect skin against environmental assault." It is even safe to use around the eyes and makes your feel skin soft. A little goes a long way, so you will definitely get your money's worth out of it. I am thrilled with this product. Please take a moment to read about it's amazing benefits here.

I'm really, really happy with the Vapour products I have tried and hope to use more in the future. I think you'll be happy with the products as well. I know I am realizing the importance of choosing healthy beauty products.

Vapour products are great. I haven't tried their nail polish yet - I wasn't even aware that they released one!
