Vapour Organic Beauty contacted me about reviewing their 2012 Holiday Collection and I was more than happy to do so as I have been pleased with their products in the past.

It's important to use organic beauty products whenever possible because our skin is an organ. In fact, it's our largest organ. That being said, what we put on our skin does go into our body.

Since that's the case, I am trying to take steps towards replacing my beauty products with more natural ones.

Ultimately, my life is in God's hands and I cannot prevent all diseases from affecting me. However, what I can do is continue to make better, healthier choices for my family and me and leave the rest up to Him.

Co-founder of Vapour Organic Beauty, Krysia Boinis, botanical expert and young breast cancer survivor says, “Being diagnosed with breast cancer in my 30’s was shocking for me. The disease changed my life and reinforced my belief in the importance of using safe, non-toxic beauty products on our skin everyday. Vapour is formulated with food-grade, certified organic botanicals and pure, natural pigments and vitamins, so they are safe for everyone and gentle enough for those undergoing cancer treatments.” source

Vapour Organic Beauty is an excellent choice for your beauty products. Their products have 70% Certified Organic Ingredients and are 30% Minerals & Vitamins. They are also Paraben Free, Gluten Free, Chemical Free, Cruelty Free, and have no Nano Particles, and no Irradiation. source

It's also good to know that "certified Organic ingredients have been found to offer twice the antioxidant potency as their conventional counterparts. Vapour’s Organic ingredients are rich in Antioxidants, EFAs (essential fatty acids) and Vitamins & Minerals which support skin health." source

If you want to read more about the benefits of Vapour please read their educational page. I think you will find it very informative.

For a limited time, Vapour Organic Beauty is offering their 2012 Holiday Collection for $52. This is a savings of 15%. With the 2012 Holiday Collection you receive the Siren Lipstick in Bold, the Elixir Plumping Gloss in Bolt and the Mesmerize Eyeliner in Black.

Click here for a list of ingredients for each of these products. And if you're like me, I like to compare results with EWG's Skin Deep Guide.

Skin Deep gives Vapour's Siren Lipstick a rating of 1 which is great! The Elixir Plumping Gloss receives a score of 2 which is still good and although I could not find the Mesmerize Eyeliner listed specifically, Skin Deep does give Vapour Organic Beauty an overall rating of 1-2 so they are a good company for you to shop from.

If you would like to give Vapour a try, but prefer to start with some samples, you can order them here.

Be sure to stop by Vapour's site and check out their makeup and skin care products.
