Well, I guess technically the real ones are edible too, but these might taste better! :) I am pretty sure I got this idea from Homeschoolshare.com.
Basically, take a tortilla and fold it in half. Then fold it in half again and cut on it the way you would a paper snowflake. Bake in the oven at 350 F for about 10 minutes or so until desired crispiness. Then brush with butter and top with powdered sugar. This was an easy, yummy afternoon snack! My kids each made one and were asking for more. :)

MMMMM sounds yummy and fun!! I'll have to try that when G can have corn and wheat.
This post came at the perfect time! Jack has been obsessed with making snowflakes. We've made snowflakes out of melted crayon and snowflakes out of good old white paper and scissors. They're hanging all over the house. I'm totally making this for dessert with dinner!
They were yummy! I only let them have one each, but we'll make some more again soon, I'm sure. I love that it's so easy! Glad you can use the idea Kim.
We made some snowflakes also out of coffee filters. The kids colored on them w/washable markers and then we cut the snowflake patterns out.
My daughter is a tortilla fiend! I can't wait to try this with her.
Ehlara, have fun! :)
