Mohawk Valley Trading Company
The Mohawk Valley Trading Company, located in Utica, New York offers the highest quality organic and unprocessed natural products they can produce, such as maple syrup and raw honey. Their honey comes in a variety of flavors, such as, Orange Blossom Honey, Apple Blossom Honey, Blueberry Blossom Honey and Buckwheat Honey.Their raw honey is unpasteurized, unfiltered, unprocessed, unheated and unblended.
Raw honey contains all of the pollen, live enzymes, propolis, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, minerals, and aromatics in the same condition as they were in the hive. (You can read more on my post about the benefits of raw honey.)
What Else Do They Carry? Not only do they have honey, but they also carry Maple Syrup. (We only use Maple Syrup around our house because I'm not really comfortable pouring CORN SYRUP, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, WATER, CELLULOSE GUM, CARAMEL COLOR, SALT, SODIUM BENZOATE AND SORBIC ACID (PRESERVATIVES), ARTIFICIAL AND NATURAL FLAVORS, and SODIUM HEXAMETAPHOSPHATE over the amazing pancakes my husband regularly makes for us. We don't claim to always make perfect food choices, but every once in a while, we get it right. However, we are constantly striving to improve the food we do eat.)
So instead of table syrup, we'll stick to something like this, thank you very much:
We tried the Adirondack Wildflower Honey. We love raw honey around our house.
The Adirondack Wildflower Honey was no exception. It has a different consistency than what we're used to (much more thick), but the flavor was amazing.

I have been looking for good raw honey for awhile. My husband doesn't believe me that raw is any different from the stuff you get on grocery store shelves. He's silly.
